I'm a Certified Presence-Based® Coach. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and Applied Social Relations and Masters Degree in Counseling. My formal education, in combination with 40 years of experience in the role of  OD consultant, trainer, facilitator, coach, experiential educator, leadership development consultant, therapist, Certified Home Funeral Guide, and parent, adds to the skills I draw from in my work.

 

I began working in the Mental Health field and then incorporated the use of Action-Based Learning theory in over 350 programs with corporations, small business, residential treatment facilities, private clinical care, non-profits, hospitals, and educational settings. I am owner of Melanie Nichols Coaching and Consulting  in Falmouth, Maine.
